From Fulton Ferry: Building Downtown Brooklyn traces the impact transportation has had on Downtown Brooklyn for more than 350 years, from the first ferry to the present day. Housed underground in an authentic 1936 subway station in Downtown Brooklyn, the Transit Museum offers changing exhibitions as well as a rotating selection of twenty vintage subway and elevated cars dating back to 1907.

Starting with the museum’s 40 pages of thumbnail images and text covering  overlapping time periods,  I transformed a decommissioned subway station into an exhibition about the history of Brooklyn’s public transportation system. Using color and visual motifs, I created an attractive exhibit that was relevant to transportation aficionados and accessible to school groups.
